This was a typical comment made when OFEX plc announced its flotation on its
bigger brother, AIM, early this year. The OFEX team, having being used by
450 companies to raise over £1bn over the past seven years, however had a
plan, and the timing was right.
The process of floating on a market is very similar on OFEX and AIM.
This is a unique opportunity to hear from the operator of the market, about his
experience of floating on another. From the choice of advisers to the costs
(financial and time), how did OFEX's experience compare with that of its own
clients.
The OFEX model is expanding and is actively looking to create new
opportunities for investors, companies and advisers alike.
The Angel networks in the UK are a key component of the funding resource in the UK, and OFEX is looking to work more closely alongside them.
The successful creation of SION, the Solent Enterprise Hub Angel Network, with its rapidly increasing membership base is a good place to start from.
