Summary: An opportunity to benefit from the expertise and advice of the UK Patent Office.
Learn how to exploit and maximise the value of Intellectual Property (IP).
Gain a valuable insight into the commercialisation of IP, know when to ask for professional advice.
• Exploiting IP;
- what, when and why to protect which includes a step-by-step guide through the innovation process to exemplify the issues of exploiting IP rights;
- how to protect products and inventions;
- how to use IP databases to minimise costs and reduce risks;
- the management issues involved;
- what can be done to avoid litigation.
• The innovation support services available from the Search and Advisory Service (SAS), part of the UK Patent Office.
During the seminars, delegates will be divided into groups to work on a case study using materials presented.
The main event will finish around 4pm, we then have a Networking event with a buffet until 5pm.
You will be able to speak to the presenters and meet the other attendees.
