Six firms, already reviewed by our investor panel will be presenting:
Marine - £600K
A drive in car wash for Boats. Uses mature technology. Meets future EU environmental directives that
will outlaw many anti-fouling treatments. Patented and revenue generating at several sites.
Leisure - £250K
An innovative drowning protection system to protect both swimmers, and pool operators from
litigation arising from drowning incidents. It has IP and is developed to prototype stage with
trials underway.
Scientific - £250K
Miniature Mass Spectrometer, a laboratory tool used in many sectors. This device is so small it will
create a totally new market segment. Possible uses include portable equipment for detecting
explosives and drugs. Patented and under trial.
Broadcast - £250K
This sports media company has developed a Video Camera/Tracking system able to capture high quality
fully zoomed in images of fast moving objects. It offers broadcasters/sports rights owners the
potential of an additional revenue stream. The system is in use in motor-sport and is revenue
generating.
IT - £500K
Bringing the power of the Supercomputer to PC's and Servers.
Analyse vast volumes of data (static and streaming) at Supercomputer+ speeds.
Typical markets include Financial Services, Geophysics, Bioscience, Defence, Government, Retail, Utilities and Aerospace. The Hardware is developed. Patented and revenue generating.
Engineering - £550K
A genuine break through in low cost, fuel efficient 4 stroke engine technology for global markets
including, motor cycles, utility engines and unmanned air vehicles. Patented and currently
commencing engine demonstrator programs with key customers.
