Optim8 delivers Service Automation system to major insurance company

Risk Management Services Ltd, part of the National Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Society Limited (NFU Mutual) has selected Optim8 to implement Lawson Software's Service Process Optimisation Solution. Risk Management Services is nearing completion of the project to help automate and streamline business processes, improve cash collection at the point of sale and to help support the company's future growth.

Pamela Oldfield, Risk Management Services manager, said, "Lawson Service Process Optimisation will replace our existing legacy systems with an automated Web environment, providing us with an enterprise wide view of our business for the first time. The software is designed to provide far more information for our sales team and increase flexibility and integration capabilities." Oldfield continued, "The software will be used by approximately 500 users, both internally and among our business partners. It has been introduced as part of a plan to improve efficiency for our internal underwriters and national network of external agencies and brokers."

Optim8, who are based at the Portsmouth Technopole, were selected to deliver the solution following an intensive analysis of vendors that focused on the best "fit" with business requirements, ease of use and total cost of ownership. Risk Management Services believed that Optim8 had the right experience, expertise and capabilities to deliver the solution. Optim8 will integrate Lawson's Service Process Optimisation Suite into Risk Management Services existing financial software. The implementation started in July 2003 and is expected to go-live in early 2004. The solution will run on Microsoft SQL server and Windows 2000.
