How to Submit Your Business Proposal
All business proposals are submitted to Angels for Growth via this website. Please register your details and submit your business proposal here.

If you are not ready you can register your interest and submit files later. When you have completed registration you will be able to download a sample Executive Summary template, you should also download the Contract. Once you have customised the Executive Summary document to your own business opportunity you can come back and upload this. A PowerPoint presentation to Investors is also required.

When you have registered AND files have been uploaded you will be contacted to discuss the possibility of attending the Review Panel and subsequently presenting to the Investor Group.

Please read the statement on the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 before you submit your business proposal.

The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 requires investors to be certified as sophisticated investors or high net worth individuals before they can receive promotions about investments in unquoted companies which have not been approved by persons authorised by the Financial Services Authority.

BEFORE ISSUING ANY FINANCIAL PROMOTION TO ANY PERSON IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT FIRMS HAVE POTENTIAL INVESTORS PROVE THAT THEY MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS

Firms should be aware that they may incur criminal penalties if they make false or misleading statements in connection with any information they may supply to Investors.

Fees

Review Panel Fee
When we have your Executive Summary it will be assessed against the criteria described above. If it meets the criteria the next stage is for you to make a presentation to our Investment Review Panel.

The Panel consists of a number of professionals and at least one active Investor. The Panel decide if your proposal is sufficiently well developed to be allowed forward to the full Investor group presentations event.

If you are invited to present to the panel you will be asked to return to this page and using the 'Review Panel Fee' link on the right, make an online payment of £250.

You will receive a confirmation email with a receipt. This is non-refundable and covers the cost of the review process.

Success Fee
The success fee is only charged when an investment is made. It is payable within 14 days of completion of the investment. £1,000 + 5% of funds raised.


Enterprise Investment Scheme
The EIS is a government scheme that allows certain tax reliefs for investors who subscribe for qualifying shares in qualifying companies.
If your proposal qualifies for EIS relief it is more attractive to investors.
