| Graphics Research Corporation Limited was established in 1989 trading as GRC Ltd. being incorporated under an initiative from the U. K. Central Government and U. K. Ministry of Defence. The primary purpose was to enhance and make commercially available a £60 million MoD development of Warship and Submarine design and analysis software. Since 1996 GRC have undertaken the development and implementation of complex mathematical algorithms for surface ship and submarine structures, designs and product models within a wholly object oriented PC based framework. GRC's flagship product PARAMARINE is a PC based Object Oriented design system whose intended market is the marine sector. PARAMARINE provides many features including modeling, stability, structural definition, longitudinal strength, pressure hull strength, functional building block early stage design, design for production, above water vulnerability analysis, powering, seakeeping, ship manoeuvring, submarine manoeuvring and kinematics via link to Visual Nastran. |  |
