Partners for Success

The Enterprise Hub concept is an award-winning initiative created by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA). It is a network of focal points for innovation and entrepreneurial activity with a growing number of hub locations across the region. Enterprise Hubs are more than just buildings. The network of Hubs enables Hub Directors to disseminate best practice and allow expertise in the support of business start-ups to be spread across the South East of England.

Solent Enterprise Hub was initiated by the Harbour Economic Development Forum (the local authorities of Fareham, Gosport, Havant and Portsmouth) and its core funding is provided jointly by SEEDA, the four local authorities, Oxford Innovation, Basepoint plc, QinetiQ, Business Link Wessex and the University of Portsmouth. The Hub's programme of activities draws in additional funding from business partners.

		University of Portsmouth The University of Portsmouth is a leading centre for education and research, with 16,607 students and an annual turnover of £75 million.
